BT-15 HD MOD 1 B&T / Hodge Defense System B&T USA collaborated with Hodge Defense System to build the BT-15 HD line of AR-15s. The overall design is based on Hodge’s extant MOD 1 and MOD 2.
This BT-15 HD Mod 1 features a receiver set made from 7075 Aluminum with standard controls. A tuned mid-length gas system that offers a mild recoil impulse that improves functionality when run with or without a suppressors. A free float thermally fitted match-grade chrome lined cold-hammer forged 16" barrel that are optimized for use with M855A1 EPR ammo. The enhanced bolt made of 9310 alloy steel and QPQ coated for lubricity and expanded bolt life by lowering the friction coefficient between the barrel extension and bolt, while also minimizing friction on the back of the lugs during extraction. A Full M-LOK compatible Hodge's pinch-lock handguards adds robustness and reduce rail flex. The BT-15 HD sets a new standard for performance and reliability in the world of modern sporting rifles.
